Ken Guerra founded Investment Resources, Inc. with the vision of being an indispensible partner who actively advises his clients toward building wealth. With over 40 years in the financial industry, Ken is well seasoned in retirement income planning and wealth creation. After graduating from Grants Pass High School in 1977, Ken entered the U.S. Navy, where he served until 1981 as an aviation electronics technician. In 1982, he served a mission in San Jose, California for 18 months.
While attending college Ken got his start in the financial services industry. He obtained his life insurance license in 1984 and then his first securities registration in 1985. To serve his clients’ diverse financial needs, he has added many professional registrations and licenses; his licenses include property, casualty, and health insurance, and securities registrations series 6, 7, 26, 24, 63, and 66. He is also licensed as a mortgage loan originator.
Ken has been married to Joanna since 1984; they have four boys, one daughter, two foster children, and three grand-babies. Ken is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys many activities, including water and motor sports and gardening. He is very active in his Christian church. All four of his sons are Eagle Scouts, and he has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America their entire lives.
